The Idea

Carolinas 17 Homes is a unique development of premium-quality apartments and lofts, equipped with parking spaces, and located right in centre of Madrid, in Tetuán, an area of the capital currently undergoing a dynamic transformation.

The development is found near AZCA, Madrid’s main financial and business district, next to the city’s trademark thoroughfare, El Paseo de la Castellana, just a short distance from one of the capital’s largest shopping areas, including the Mercado de Maravillas (market) and the El Corte Inglés department store.

The Building

Carolinas 17 Homes is a new residential property development by ATOM Real Estate Developments, in which we completely renovated an industrial building formerly dedicated to clothing manufacturing. The result: the construction of 11 apartments and 5 lofts, with 8 parking spaces for cars and 3 for motorcycles, terraces, patios and storage rooms.

The flats boast ample open spaces, large windows, and private terraces and patios.

When refurbishing the building, we prioritized aesthetics and the comfort afforded by the use of materials of the very highest quality.

The project includes the installation of an elevator with a glass screen, underfloor climate control (cold and heat), large windows featuring thermal bridges, and kitchens outfitted with built-in appliances.

The homes feature private storages spaces on the basement level, and the option of a parking space in the garage.

The access to the building has been carefully designed for people with reduced mobility.

The Neighbourhood

Tetuán is a district in the centre of Madrid currently undergoing a vibrant transformation thanks to its excellent location and thriving local activity, which is attracting a great number of families, young people, and professionals who want to enjoy an ideal location at a reasonable price. In fact, it is Madrid’s fastest-growing district (18.9%) and that with the highest yield in central Madrid (El Confidencial, 28/04/2019).

It is an area offering a whole range of shopping options in a residential setting offering access to all the necessary services. Moreover, there are green areas and sports facilities nearby, such as those found at the Canal de Isabel II, the Rodríguez Sahagún Park and Sports Centre, and the sprawling forest/park of La Dehesa de la Villa. Madrid’s main universities – La Complutense and Universidad Politécnica – round out the important facilities found close-by.
